Rita Vaali is a designer and visual artist whose practice centers on textiles, particularly weaving and pattern design. Her work is characterized by a vibrant use of color, an illustrative approach, and an ongoing exploration of traditional textile structures through experimentation.

Vaali graduated with an MA in Design, majoring in Fashion, Clothing and Textile Design, from Aalto University in 2025 and received a BA in Fine Arts from Turku Arts Academy in 2018.
